The Missouri State Fair will host a full array of concerts during the 2022 festivities. As the world moves beyond the Covid-19 pandemic, restrictions are lighter and the Fair will include eight concerts, two tractor pulls and a sprint car race at the Grandstand.
This year’s concert lineup begins with Trace Adkins and Lonestar opening the series Thursday, Aug. 11 and closes Saturday, Aug. 20 with Justin Moore and Heath Sanders.
Country music singer-songwriter Sam Hunt will play Saturday, Aug. 13 with support from Sean Stemaly. Hunt has accumulated more than 11 billion global streams, according to a press release from the Missouri State Fair. His debut album, “Montevallo,” produced four No. 1 singles including “Leave the Light On,” “Take Your Time,” “House Party,” and “Break Up in a Small Town.”
Classic rock legends Tesla will be taking the stage with Fuel Friday, Aug. 12. Christian rockers Casting Crowns play Tuesday, Aug. 16 with support from We Are Messengers. ZZ Top’s “Raw Whisky Tour” featuring Goodbye June will be at the Fair Aug. 17. Charley Crockett and Stoney LaRue play Aug. 18. Funk legends KC and the Sunshine Band play Aug. 19 with support from The Four Tops.
