Update: Pointfest officials have cancelled the May 20 showing following the death of Chris Cornell, the frontman of Soundgarden.
Pointfest announced that there will be two shows this year, the first May 13 and the second May 20. Both shows will be at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Mo.
The May 13 show features Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Alter Bridge, Thrice, Sick Puppies, You Me At Six, and Holy White Hounds.
The May 20 show features Soundgarden, Stone Sour, Pierce The Veil, Greek Fire, J. Roddy Walston & The Business, Biffy Clyro, and Dillinger Escape Plan.
Presales for the shows begin Thursday March 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday March 3. During the first week of sales lawn or select reserved tickets for either show are on sale for $19 plus fees.
