Wings Over Whiteman returned with it’s first air show in two years celebrating 70 years of aviation at Whiteman Air Force Base.
The lineup included the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team; F-16 Viper Demo Team; B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber; “Doc,” one of the two B-29 Superfortresses still flying; Canadian Harvard Aerobatic Team, CAF Gulf Coast Wing’s B-17 Texas Raiders; Julie Clark, T-34; Kent Pietsch; A-26 “Lady Liberty;” Randy W. Ball, MIG-17F; Commemorative Air Force B-25 Devil Dog; Shetterly Squadron, SNJ-6; B-1 Lancer; B-52 Stratofortress; C-17 Globemaster III; A-10 Warthog, 442d Fighter Wing; T-38 Talon; T-1 Jayhawk; Army Blackhawks, 1-135th Assault Helicopter Battalion; and other featured ground show events.
