Big Slick has announced a chance for fans to participate in the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend through a new partnership with Omaze.
According to the Omaze page, fans who donate can pick up exclusive Big Slick gear and a winner will get the chance to play in the softball tournament with Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stonestreet and David Koechner at Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals.
The winner will be treated to a weekend worth of VIP treatment, including playing in the game, watching the following Royals game from the Hall of Fame suite, and access to two days of events as part of the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend as well as being flown to Kansas City and a stay in a 4-star hotel.
The annual event benefits Children’s Mercy, located in Kansas City, Mo., one of the nation’s top pediatric medical centers. The page states that the 367-bed, not-for-profit hospital provides care for children from birth through the age of 21, and is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals.” The Cancer Center’s mission is to help improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of children with cancer and their families. With 28 pediatric oncologists on staff, the Center provides comprehensive care to nearly 2,000 children each year with childhood cancers, sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other blood disorders. At any given time, the Center — recognized nationally for meeting the highest standard for cancer care — is participating in nearly 100 clinical trials.
The campaign runs through Thursday, June 15. Big Slick Celebrity Weekend takes place June 23-24. For more, visit the Omaze page for the event here.
