Rumors have swirled that a Buffalo Wild Wings is coming to Warrensburg, Mo. since a strip mall was built at 303 East Cooper Blvd., which is known as Liberty Plaza. They went a step further when a sign was put up featuring the BWW logo.
Nikki Butler, senior regional marketing manager for Minnestoa, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri for BWW, shed some light on the location coming to Warrensburg. Butler said Warrensburg meets the demographic requirements for a BWW location, and that “the university is also a big plus.”
The restaurant is located at the south end of the Wal-Mart parking lot, which Butler said was “an excellent location in the retail focal point.” BWW started construction in mid-May and is on schedule for a late July/early August opening date and Butler said will be a standard store with standard look, décor and menu.
Butler said online applications for the Warrensburg location will be available June 11, as it stands right now. To apply, head to buffalowildwings.com and go to the careers page at the bottom of the website to fill out an application.
Butler has high hopes for how BWW will do once it’s open.
“I think we will do very well in Warrensburg and we are excited about being part of the city,” she said.
The hours of operation are set by the regional manager and the management team, so Butler didn’t have them available per CMN’s request, but most of their restaurants are open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
