The Missouri State Fair has announced the entertainment options for the final weekend of the 2016 event, adding two more country concerts to the Pepsi Grandstand lineup.
Announced via a press release from the Missouri State Fair, Friday, Aug. 19 will feature three acts as part of Red Dirt Country Night with Randy Rogers Band, Stoney LaRue and Jason Boland & The Stragglers. Lady Antebellum and opener Kelsea Ballerini will take the Pepsi Grandstand stage Saturday, Aug. 20. The final day of the Fair, Sunday, Aug. 21 will end with the High Roller Classic ASCS National Sprint Cars, ULMA Late Models and WAR Non-Wing Sprint Cars.
Tickets for the Aug. 19 show are $10 and $15, while tickets for the Aug. 20 show start at $35.
Previously announced Fair concerts include country artists Chris Janson with LOCASH on Tuesday, Aug. 16 and Christian rock groups Newsboys with Hawk Nelson on Thursday, Aug. 18.
“The final weekend line-up in the Pepsi Grandstand this year is a great one for fairgoers with two nights of country music and auto races,” MSF Director Mark Wolfe said via the release. “Four more nights of concerts will be announced soon.”
Tickets for all concerts will be available to the public starting June 21 through Ticketmaster online or by phone. Concertgoers can sign up to become a Fair Fan at mostatefair.com to receive early announcements, including grandstand concert ticket presale opportunities.
Tickets for the auto races will be available to the public starting at June 27 through Ticketmaster or by phone, and also through the State Fair Box Office, which opens that same day.
